Planning for your placements

Movement to Work are here to support your planning process. In our experience, the best work placements are those that provide benefit to both your organisation and to those seeking employment, whether via a work experience placement or direct entry. Answer the questions in the form below to help shape your thinking.

Answer these as best you can and if you feel the need to come back and revise your answers after further planning, please do so. You are able to save your form throughout the process.

CSR Strategy vs Employment Strategy

CSR Example: Unilever deliver the I’m Walls programme, which supports those distant from the labour market to run a food stall at a summer event. They gain employability skills, are paid a wage and the sales enable the model to be self-sustaining.

Employment Example: BAE Systems offer a 4 week programme, 2 weeks comprising employability skills and 2 weeks work experience. Successful participants are invited to join BAE's Apprenticeship programme.

If your aim is CSR and employment, please answer both of the below questions below.
