Stacey is a winner of Springboard’s Fiona Colley Award. This award is for Springboard beneficiaries who have overcome significant barriers to employment and includes a development scholarship. Prior to the course, Stacey was struggling with depression and anxiety after the death of her mum. She was too scared to apply for jobs and had very low self confidence. She embarked on the Diageo Learning for Life course in Fife and with her Programme Manager’s support built up her confidence to apply for roles within the hospitality sector. She went on to work as a Bartender in the Wetherspoons in her hometown.
