There has never been a more important time for us all to support one another as well as those on retail’s frontline. The Trust offers a wide range of guidance and tools to help retail colleagues, young people and their families to manage their wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Personalised wellbeing support

Non-repayable grants

CaRe20 fundraising appeal

Working in partnership with the British Retail Consortium and RWRC (the home of Retail Week and World Retail Congress), retailTRUST has launched ‘CaRe20 – Caring for Retail during COVID-19’. The fundraising appeal will offer a lifeline to those on retail’s frontline who are putting their customer’s health and wellbeing before their own. 

The financial grants will help retail workers, young people and their families with:

  • Grants to help with food, essential bills, childcare and other necessities
  • Telephone and online counselling to help those with stress and anxiety
  • Retraining needs for those facing a redundancy or seeking a new role.

Re-skilling initiative

The charity has created a selection of digital training resources available at myrtwellbeing.org.uk to help you get back in to work or re-skill after the COVID-19 crisis. These include:

  • How to create a CV
  • How to prepare for an interview
  • Core skills to help you at work
  • Supply chain and distribution skills.

In the coming weeks, we will also be offering a series of FREE work-ready webinars designed to help those that are unemployed back into the world of work with the relevant skills, knowledge and confidence.
