“I decided to go on the apprenticeship in Hospitality, Scotland programme with Apex Hotels so I can see all aspects of hospitality and learn how departments work together. I’ve always been interested in hospitality but didn’t know what department I would like to work in. This is why I really enjoy this apprenticeship, I am accessing different departments, lots of training and it is showing me what I enjoy and where my skills are. I didn’t know how to get into hospitality and what qualifications I needed, so what way better to get experience than working, learning and earning at the same time.
I really enjoyed the apprenticeship and working in a hotel means each day is different and I get to meet new people. I’ve learnt so much already from my first six months and would never have learnt if it wasn’t for this apprenticeship opportunity with Apex Hotels.”
